ABOUT THE EVENT

If you want to know what is currently happening in the world of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and co-simulation, this is an event that you cannot miss. The Hexagon Cradle CFD and CoSim specialist will be showing us some of the current and upcoming capabilities that you will have at your disposal when using our CFD and CoSim solutions.

This TechDay is meant for everyone that has an interest in CFD or co-simulation, you do not have to be an expert to get your first models built and running.

PRESENTERS

Angelo Limone - CoSIM Product Manager

Angelo Limone has a background in physics, with a focus on industrial applications. He completed a PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching near Munich, with a thesis titled “Numerical simulations of turbulence and magnetic instabilities in liquid metal experiments”.
Angelo previously worked as a Computational Scientist at the ABB Corporate Research Center in Switzerland on CFD simulations of power devices. Later on he worked as Application Engineer and then Technical Product Manager at Siemens Digital Industries Software. He recently joined Hexagon as Product Manager for Multiphysics applications. Focus of his previous and current work is on Multiphysics, CFD, low-frequency computational electromagnetics, heat transfer and thermal radiation, plasma flows and electrochemistry.

Virginie Turc - EMEA Cradle CFD Business Development Manager

Virginie has an engineering degree in Energy systems and thermal transfers from Polytech' Marseille. Then she followed up with a specialization in "Products & Energy" from the French Petroleum Institute IFP School. After more than 14 years in the downstream Oil & Gas sector, she moved toHexagon. Passionate about innovation, her willingness is to propose sustainable solutions for today's challenges .

Maxime Bommé - Pre-Sales Engineer Cradle CFD

Maxime is a pre-sales engineer at Hexagon based in Lyon, France. He has an engineering degree in material sciences from the Ecole Polytechnique de l’Université de Nantes, and he has started his career as a consultant engineer using different simulation softwares, for several industries. Then he decided to jump on the other side: software editors. For the last 5 years, he has helped customers to define why MSC Cradle solutions are the best tools for their needs.
