The Cradle suite of software is MSC's computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solution. This suite comprises of:

- scFLOW
- scSTREAM
- scTETRA
- HeatDesigner
- PICLS

All of these products (with the exception of PICLS) have step-by-step tutorials to get you started. Once you are familiar with the user interface there are also application simulation specific exercises that you can do or use as a starting point for the simulation you want to perform.

The initial user interface when opening the Cradle products has the exact same button layout and workflow.

To access the tutorials however, you need to install the user data. This is a quick and easy process but it is not that obvious if you don't know where to look.

**Step 1:** Open the Cradle product you wish to use. This will open what is referred to as the Kicker.

**Step 2:** Click on the explore user folder button to see the options available.

**Step 3:** Select settings and click on Install User Data

**Step 4:** Select if you want to install all the user data or only specific data sets.

**Step 5:** Select a directory where you want to install the data sets.

**Step 6:** Click install to complete the data set installation.

**Step 1:** Open the Cradle product you wish to use. This will open what is referred to as the Kicker.

**Step 2:** Click on the user guide button to see the options available.
